I have also been recently engaged in activities related to searching for an independent director position on a corporate board. An ideal board position for me would be with a company that: 1) is a real estate company (including proptech); 2) owns significant commercial real estate assets for operations and/or investments; or 3) is a financial institution or other real estate lender.
